Description
Come and visit The Keep for a behind-the-scenes tour; home for the archives and collections of East Sussex County Record Office, the Royal Pavilion and Museums, Brighton & Hove and the University of Sussex Special Collections. These archives document the lives of individuals, places and events from across the county and beyond, dating back 900 years and they include written records, maps and plans, prints and drawings, photographs and films, oral histories, and digital and electronic records.  

Tours on Thursday at 11am and 2pm and Friday at 11am and 2pm, and limited to a maximum of 12 people per tour. 
 
 
Places must be pre-booked via The Keep on 01273 482349 or by email: thekeep@eastsussex.gov.uk. Event not suitable for children under the age of 7.

Directions
We are situated on the edge of Brighton just off the A27 near to the University Campuses and the Amex Stadium. Buses from Brighton and Lewes directions stop close to the building and we are just a 10 minute walk from Falmer train station. Please note that the postcode may not work with Sat Nav systems as it is relatively new but the geographic co-ordinates for the Keep are as follows: N 50°51.550′ W 000°05.729′ and TQ 32022 08239
