Courses

Each year we run a variety of courses aimed at providing building professionals and the occupants of historic buildings with a better understanding of Georgian and Victorian architecture and the conservation issues surrounding the upkeep of such property.

Typical of these courses are our popular 'Gaining the Knowledge' series and our occasional 'Ornamental Plastering' workshops.

'Gaining the Knowledge'

This four-day course, taught at intervals over several weeks, aims to provide an understanding of traditional building materials and methods, strengthen the attendees ability to interpret the evolution of historic buildings and encourage the use of appropriate building products and repair techniques. The course is designed principally for surveyors and other building professionals and is one of our most popular seminar series.
